A young, rebellious girl called Violetta is forced to leave the comforts of civilisation and move instead to a sleepy town with her parents. This street savvy kid is not at all pleased faced with the prospect of spending her youth in the middle of nowhere, far away from her friends and anything fun to do. She sees herself dying of boredom day after day. Little does she know that she is about to have the adventure of her life.

One day, while sitting on her bed, she notices a light coming from a mousehole. Intrigued, she approaches it, reaches inside, and finds herself in another place entirely. A place that is familiar and unfamiliar all at once. A place as alluring as it is dangerous. A place where opera-singing toads are the norm, garden gnomes take on the role of messengers from other dimensions, and the power of telekinesis doesn’t faze anyone. Luck and wit are the only two things that will get her out of this surreal world and back to her parents!
